About

Shoreikan Dojo, founded in 2001 by Tony Chung Sensei, is a martial arts training center that specializes in Yoshinkan Aikido. As a highly effective self-defense martial art, Aikido emphasizes using minimal effort for maximum impact. It is also known for its numerous health benefits, such as improved balance, flexibility, and endurance.

The dojo's structured training method follows the principles of Yoshinkan Aikido, which was founded by Gozo Shioda, a student of the renowned Morihei Ueshiba, the founder of Aikido. Thanks to the dedication of Thamby Rajah Sensei, Yoshinkan Aikido was brought to Malaysia.

What sets Shoreikan Dojo apart is its team of highly experienced and knowledgeable instructors who are dedicated to helping students of all levels achieve their personal goals.

With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the nuances of Yoshinkan Aikido, they offer personalized guidance and support to help students master self-defense techniques and improve their physical fitness.
